Graph from Water Office of Environment Canada shows current level of Fraser River at South Fort George
Prince George, B.C. – As of this morning, the Fraser River is at 9.299 metres, below the flood mark of 9.4 metres but up from yesterday’s low mark of 9.1 metres. As a result, Prince George is now in Flood Watch mode.
The River Forecast Centre says the river is rising again today and the additional rise will depend on how much rain had been dumped into the system over the weekend. The Fraser at South Fort could hit the 10 metre mark through tomorrow.
A high streamflow advisory remains in effect along the Nechako River.
