Prince George, B.C. – RCMP traffic services says  one lane of traffic will be opened on highway 16 east at the Yellowhead bridge in the next few minutes to allow some traffic to pass around the scene of an accident  which closed the roadway earlier.

A single vehicle left the highway near the jail plunging about more than 100 meters down the bank. The male driver of the vehicle is reported to have suffered severe injuries.
