Explosives Experts on Scene on Quince Street

Friday, July 6, 2012 @ 1:11 PM
Prince George, B.C.- The RCMP’s Explosive Device Unit is on scene at a home in the 2100 block of Quince Street this hour, dealing with a suspicious item.

A portion of Quince Street has been blocked to all traffic until the device has been safely removed.

RCMP say the residence was recently occupied by someone who they say was known to have gang affiliations and who they say was recently evicted from the property.  When cleaning crews arrived on scene this morning to clean the residence, they discovered a suspicious item.

While not yet confirmed to be a pipe bomb, it looks like one. It is cylindrical with black electricians tape  and wires on either end.

Police had advised neighbours of the situation, but it isn’t known  if anyone actually opted to evacuate the area. Police do not have the power to force a person to leave their residence.

Want to hear some sad ethics? this piece of Kaka will no doubt be evicted alright but some poor unsuspecting landlord will take the puke in because the law does not permit a registry of these creeps so we can check out gang members, hitmen and mad bombers like this and keep them out of our neighbourhood. Privacy rights and the right of confidentiality does not permit these pukes from being blacklisted. You can’t demand a crim check either.

should be a stupid comments registry as well.
