Planting a Smile
Prince George, B.C.- Someone in the Hart region of the City of Prince George, has a wonderful sense of humour.
The city has been plagued with potholes this years, thousands have been filled, and while road rehabilitation projects are underway, there are still plenty of potholes that need to be dealt with.
On Wallace Crescent, someone has planted a plant in a pothole that has appeared on the street.
Heading up the hill, the spray painted message on the roadway reads "Caution, fresh pothole". But heading down the hill towards the new " plant" ( shown in photo at right) the spray painted message reads "Caution, fresh ‘potted" hole!"
The sign on the road should help people dodge the hole, and for those heading down the hill, should bring a smile or two.

How embarrassing for Prince George…:-)
I thought I saw a German soldier in one of them today.
Aww, man I wish I would have thought of that!
C’mon folks. Let’s get our rusty and cob webbed imaginations running on all cylinders. Yesterday it was duct tape. Today it was a potted plant. Tomorrow….? Let’s try to make it onto YouTube, garner 10 million hits and embarrass our city council into finding the money. Maybe those YouTube folks may raise money for us in sympathy because we are being bullied by city hall into having to tolerate these pot holes. Could happen.
