Prince George, BC – Conversations within the geriatric assessment and treatment unit at the University Hospital of Northern BC will be that much clearer, thanks to a donation from the Prince George Eagles #3318 Society.

The local club has present the GAT unit with six pocket talkers that will assist patients with hearing impairments by amplifying sound – they include a microphone and head phones.

While pocket talkers are regularly used in the unit, the Eagles’ donation bolsters the supply available.
