Prince George, BC – One woman was injured in a collision between a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle and a Jeep 4×4 at the intersection of North Nechako Road and Foothills Boulevard this afternoon.
Prince George RCMP say the Jeep had been stopped at a red light, but was just accelerating to go after the light changed to green when the ATV pulled out in front of it. Police say the Jeep swerved in an effort to avoid the recreational vehicle, but the vehicles collided and the jeep landed on its side in the ditch.
The female driver of the ATV suffered a broken arm in the crash. Fortunately, her passenger and the occupants in the Jeep were unharmed.
She was issued a violation ticket.

She got off very lucky. It could have easily been tragic.
Rather stupid thing to do – – depending on her age.
Really retarded of her to be driving an atv on a public roadway anyway
She should have been driving a jeep instead of a side by side…..silly silly. I wonder what the “violation ticket” cost her. Hopefully more than her stupid pride.
It may be more expensive than she thinks. I’m pretty sure ICBC will be sending her a bill for the repairs to the jeep. If she bothered, she should have liability insurance for her ATV – wonder if it covers an on street collision – doubtful.
This is getting to be a serious problem, the ATV should be seized say for 30 days.
maybe you people should know the whole story before you start judging people everyone makes mistakes you poeple have probably done stuff like this just had better luck if you were there and saw the whole thing then maybe you should talk but if you were not there you all should shut up and stop judging a young girl for makig a mistake i am sure she feels bad enough aready and now she has to sit hear and watch all you people judge her…
Oh, uh, the gun just sort of went off! It was a mistake!
i hope this makes you guys feel better but putting rude little comments on here about me being stupid and an idiot, if you have something to say to me, you can say it to my face and if you dont know who i am then you should not be saying anything.. do you think i would llike to see all this stuff you guys saying this get a life.. for your information this is conciderd syber bullying, How old are you guys im guess three time my age how immature…
Oh good grief this is hardly “syber” bullying. The girl in question did something really stupid and there is no excuse. She not only put her own life at risk, but others at well. There definitely needs to be serious consequences for her behaviour. Welcome to life. Next time put your thinking cap on before you hop on any type of motorized vehicle. Fun as it is to play, it is a responsibility that must be taken seriously!
you are all soo pathetic. For you to be worried about the “consequences” this girl should face, instead of all that came out of this was a broken arm, not a death. All of you need to get a better hobby than to sit at home and wait for news stories to come in, then bash the little mistakes people do in life. So next time, yes maybe she should put on her “thinking cap”. But in the meantime… put on you’re big boy pants and grow up.
