One Way To Beat The Heat
(l-r) Aaron Bedard, Jordan Greenberg, Amy Krauss, and Jordann Ketlo enjoy Monday’s sunshine
Prince George, BC – Sometimes beating the heat takes a little creativity…or just a tarp and some duct tape.
17-year-olds Aaron Bedard and Jordan Greenberg rigged up Bedard’s pick-up truck with an in-back pool to help them keep cool during our beautiful blast of summer. It was the second day they’d filled up the truck bed, with friends, Amy Krauss and Jordann Ketlo, stopping by to dip their feet.
All of the teens said the water was still too cold to sit in. Bedard says he’s not too concerned about his sagging truck suspension. And when he heads for home, the boys just pull the tailgate and water the lawn.
Today is less likely to require a ‘fill up’, with Environment Canada calling for a mix of sun and cloud and a more manageable 25, rain in the forecast for tomorrow, back to a mix of sun and cloud on Friday with a high of 27 and sunshine on tap for the weekend and highs of 29 on Saturday and 28 on Sunday.
