Wildfire Smoke Advisory Cancelled

Prince George, BC – The wildfire Smoke Advisory for Prince George has been cancelled.
The Ministry of Environment says a change in weather patterns has produced a "westerly flow" that has cleared the airshed.
The provincial air quality objective for fine particles, PM2.5, is 25 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours. The 24 hour PM2.5 rolling average was 24µg/m3 at the Plaza 400 downtown site and 22µg/m3 at College Heights at 4pm today.
The provincial air quality objective for coarse particles, PM10, is 50 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours. The 24 hour PM10 rolling average was 43µg/m3 at the Plaza 400 downtown, 35µg/m3 at College Heights at 4pm today.
