Enbridge Selects P.G. Office Site
Prince George, B.C. – Enbridge has found a site for its promised office in Prince George, but is not yet prepared to reveal the exact location. “The landlord doesn’t want the information to go public just yet” says Todd Nogier of the Communications office for Enbridge in Calgary.
Opinion 250 first reported Enbridge’s plans for an office in Prince George July 5th, when Janet Holder, Executive Vice President Western Access of Enbridge Inc., addressed a Chamber of Commerce luncheon in Prince George.
Nogier confirms the office site will offer staff between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet of space. “It will be home to about 10 community relations staff when its ready” says Nogier who adds, that as Enbridge’s interests in Northern B.C. grow, so will the staff requirements at the office.
He says the site will be undergoing renovations, although no work has started “We are just in the initial stages of contacting contractors for the work.”
He says the office will eventually be home to serve Enbridge’s other interests in Northern B.C, such as the Cabin gas plant in the Ft. Nelson region.
The office is expected to be ready to occupy early this fall.

Awesome, the “occupy” people have been booked and I imagine they will setup camp as soon as the site is announced. I wonder if Green is forcing them to open up shop in the downtown core?
Are they bringing trained staff with them? or hiring local?
Ah so the spin doctoring begins. Can’t wait to hear from this office how good a huge oil spill is good for us all.
They really are that Brain dead….
Hope everyone that gets a job there negotiates a large severance package, since it will be closed down after the next election.

gus: “What is the sense in all this?”
It gives people yet another opportunity to spout off their same old rhetoric.
Does the new office come with emergency oil containment equipment?
Iunderst there will be an announcement about that a few days after the site is disclosed.
Watch for no-post guardrails and security cameras to be installed around a building over the next few day ….. that will be the ne Enbridge site…. ;-)
More interesting is who the landlord is…or maybe who is scrambling to get their name off the land title?

That’s exactly what you do JB!
Where ever it is it will soon have protesters in front on it!
I wonder if they’ll come with their own OILED DUCK?!! LOL
Prince George should dunk our Mr. PG in oil just to welcome them…..
What’s the matter, Noway? Keep on spouting guys. Always entertaining reading.
Look for something big, they will need lots of room for the truck and trailers that are trucking the oil to Kitamat if the pipeline doesn’t get built.
“they will need lots of room for the truck and trailers that are trucking the oil to Kitamat”
Nice try steven, but not a chance.
Yes you are entertaining JB! Thst’s all you do is spout about the people spouting.
Rail would make more sense and be cheaper.
Enbridge is dead, BC Liberals are dead.
Gateway will never happen.
Harper will fall over his obsession with supplying China with crud.
As for the Enbridge office, not needed, no pipeline, no office, no chance.
