Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Fire Rescue crews from 3 halls are on the scene of a duplex fire in the 1400 block of McCullagh Avenue. 

The call was received just before 0500 hours.  Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke and flames coming from one side of the duplex, and at least 9 occupants from both sides of the duplex who had evacuated themselves safely.

 

Firefighting operations are continuing.  McCullagh Avenue is blocked to all traffic between Victoria Street and Pine Street.  An update will be provided later this morning.
