I have been here since noon. Woman in a Cadillac northbound passed in an unsafe fashion and hit the southbound truck pulling a travel trailer head on. Woman from Chetwynd in the Caddy died at the scene. Elderly woman in the truck was driving, with 2 other adults, 2 kids and a dog. She tried to avoid the Caddy and ended up with a broken back. Dog in the truck in the kennel was put down at the scene. We are told road will open, single lane at 8:00PM local time.
what a life
Not trying to make light of what happened…but I managed to get around the crash this afternoon. Bit of a rough go but 4×4’s can make it easy.
Terrible tragedy to be sure…..
Do you actually know she passed in an unsafe manor?? or is that an asumption??
I heard that straight from eye witnesses that the lady in the Caddy did indeed try and pass unsafely….
