Snowmobiler Pleads Guilty to Impaired Charge
Prince George, B.C.- A Prince George man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to driving a snowmobile while impaired.
You may recall the story about a Prince George RCMP officer observing a snowmobile being operated in an alley off Austin road in early March of this year. ( see original story)
While attempting to flee police, the snowmobile collided with a parked logging truck. The snowmobile operator was arrested and found to be intoxicated, blowing twice the leval limit.The snowmobile was also found to have been stolen and was returned to its rightful owner
Last week, 21 year old Kenneth Jacob Kemp plead guilty to the following offences:
- Impaired Operation Over .08
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
As part of his sentence, Kemp received fines of $2000, restitution of almost $4000 and a one year driving prohibition.

He got off easy IMHO…was it his first offense or does he already have a string as long as your arm?
