Keep an Eye on the Till Say Police

There have been two instances in the last week in which staff were distracted from the till area, only to have a thief make off with the money or the cash register.
In the most recent case, staff heard the store door open at their Southgate area business, and when they emerged from the back of the store, a suspect had already grabbed the register and was heading out the door. The suspect is described as 40 years of age, and at the time of the theft was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, a dark baseball cap and sunglasses.
A week earlier, a suspect told staff at a business on Recreation Place that the outside washroom was overflowing. The attendant went to check the problem, at which time the suspect went behind the counter an removed cash from the register. ( photo at right of suspect, courtesy RCMP)
The suspect, is described as a First Nations male with no bottom teeth. At the time of the theft he was wearing a grey t-shirt, black ball cap, blue jeans and sunglasses.
Anyone with information on these investigations is asked to contact Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-TIPS (8477), online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca, or Text-A-Tip to CRIMES (274637) using keyword "pgtips".

No bottom teeth? Sounds like he’s been caught once or twice…
“No bottom teeth? The game is afoot,Watson. Contact every dentist in town to see who hasn’t got bottom teeth. Elementary my dear Watson. His tooth extraction wasn’t a do-it-yourself at home or a no fixed address location. We will have this case solved very shortly”.
