Not A Record-Breaker, But Still Dazzling

Prince George, BC – If you’ve been enjoying today’s sunshine, get ready to be wowed tomorrow and holiday Monday.
We are sitting at the forecast high of 28-degrees – not the 33.3 record set back in 1961, but, thankfully, a far cry from the lowest temperature recorded back on August 4th in 1951 of 1.7-degrees.
Yesterday’s maximum was a slightly cooler 26.2 degrees. The average at this time of year is between 22 and 23 degrees.
These youngsters have found the perfect way to beat the heat…
And their parents have, too – seeking shelter in the shade.
The waterspray park in Fort George Park is likely to be a busy place again tomorrow, with sunshine and 31 degrees on the way.
And, for BC Day, the revised forecast is now calling for nothing but sunshine and a high of 30.
Enjoy.

PG’s always good for a week or two of summer. ;-)
