Prince George, BC – The Langley Blaze became the second team at the 2012 BC Senior Men’s Provincial Baseball Championships to clinch a play-off spot with a decisive 7-0 shut-out over the Trail Orioles in the last game of the day at Citizen Field last night.

The Blaze broke a scoreless game with two runs in the fourth, another in the fifth, and a four-run seventh inning to go up 2-0 in the tournament.  Langley finishes round robin play with a game against Nanaimo at 1pm this afternoon.

Meantime, the Prince George Grays look to earn a spot in the play-offs when they take on the Victoria Mavericks at 8am this morning.  The host Grays are 1-and-1, thanks to last night’s 4-3 win over the Burnaby Bulldogs.
