Prince George- Police say two individuals both first nations , having been passing fraudulent Bank Of Montreal money orders in the past 24 hours.

 

 

In the last 24 hours, the Prince George RCMP have received a number of reports of fraudulently passed BMO (Bank of Montréal) money orders circulating in our community. There is a strong possibility that the suspects will continue to pass more of these documents.

 

At this time, the only description of the suspects are:

 

·       First Nations male approximately 35 years old

·       First Nations female approximately 30 years old

 

Please exercise caution when accepting money orders. Please call the bank of issue to assist with determining if the document is real or counterfeit and also call police.
