Prince George, B.C. – Environment Canada has ended the severe thunderstorm watch for Prince George and the interior of the province.
There is still a risk of a thunderstorm tonight, but if it occurs, will not be of the strength originally thought.
It will cool off however, with a high tomorrow predicted to be 22 in Prince George, with showers and possibly thunderstorms late in the day. Environment Canada expects Wednesday to have a high of 19 with a risk of showers.

Cooler will be sooooo nice !!!
So how many people were out there watching for this storm? Can anyone get a job doing that?
Kinda boring, I would think, so the pay must be good. I suppose the person spotting the thunderstorm(s) must get a bonus.
Aw! Now I’ll have to go move the sprinkler around.
Not complaining one bit.
Had such a nice summer, with real summer sun.
HAD such a nice summer??? The end of August is not even here.
Then we have a wonderful First Nations (Aboriginal?) summer yet to look forward to.
Yes it has been a beautiful summer at least for the last month and a bit. Now maybe we can look forward to a real winter too! I like the heat and the real winters we used to have.
Meanwhile thunder is pounding away
It has been a beautiful summer. Hope we get a little bit of rain every evening to keep the forrest wet.
I don’t mind it if it rains one or two days during the week.
