Bond to Take over Finance in Wake of Falcon’s Departure
Prince George, B.C.- Minister of Justice and Attorney General MLA Shirley Bond, has been asked by the Premier to take over the Ministry of Finance in the wake of Kevin Falcon’s resignation from the post.
Premier Christy Clark has just released a statement saying Minster Bond is already serving as the Deputy Chair of Treasury Board and alternate Finance Minister.
Premier Clark also offered the following comments on Falcon’s decision:
"Kevin Falcon has been the hardest working Finance Minister in the country and I want to thank him for keeping us on strong fiscal footing, with a triple A credit rating despite the worst global recession in generations. He has made a remarkable contribution to our province and his public service is beyond distinction. I know how hard it can be to balance the needs and aspirations of family life while wanting to serve publically. I wish Kevin and his growing family continued success and happiness and thank him for his incredible tenure."

Shirley Bond is the hardest working politician I know, that has the least amount of recognition.
She always end up picking up the pieces for the party.
I think she missed a piece over in England.
She,ll be out of work next election….
