Attempted murder or just mischief? Between Crown council and a good defense lawyer I would bet on a mischief charge judging from the history of our “justice system” here in Canada. Just an opinion of course, folks. Carry on.
I have a question: what is the definition of ‘obstruction of justice’ and does it apply to the way we release charged people back into the general population and then to the penalties they recieve upon conviction?
Perhaps the whole ‘Justice system’ could be charged with that.
I personally hope they go with a charge of attempted murder and make it stick.
I think cab drivers’ and bus drivers’ attackers need the heaviest possible justice meted out. It is an absolutely cowardly act on a very vulnerable person.
