Prince George-Two hikers are safe and sound after they became lost  while hiking in the Sugar bowl- Grizzly Den Provincial Park during the weekend.
Just before 10am. Today police received a report that a 42 year female and a 23 year old male were missing after going hiking in the Sugar bowl area.
Their vehicle was found in the parking lot of the park and the officer activated the search and rescue. Both a ground and air search began this afternoon.
At about 3.00pm other hikers in the park heard calls for help and provided that information to the Prince George SAR and at 3.30pm the two were found. They indicated they had become lost and were unable to find their way back to their vehicle.
They were both in good condition.

Seems to me if you go hiking and get lost, it’s your responsibility to pay for the search, and rescue team to come find your sorry A_ _. Why should he taxpayer cover the cost? Either that or let the Grizzly have you!!!

Wonder what you would say if you were lost and then found by this organazation

Given the fact that there is just so much Government waste out there nowadays….having a search and rescue operation pad by tax dollars isn’t a bad thing IMO. If you want to complain about wasting tax money….look at the Government rather than your fellow citizens.

Search & Rescue is a volunteer organization, isn’t it?

LOVE Search and rescue. Can’t stand stupid hikers who get lost.
