Fantastic Weather Marks Fall’s Arrival

The first day of the new season is expected to be a beauty, with sunshine and a high in the 24 degree range.
The fall and spring equinoxes are the only days of the year in which the amount of daylight and night, are near equal. In the Northern hemisphere, the actual 12 hour even split may happen a day or two later.
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the sunshine in the Prince George region, will give way to showers by Monday and September will wrap up a little soggy. As for October, November and December, temperatures will be a bit above normal with above normal snowfall.
Environment Canada’s prediction for the Central Interior region of B.C. is for normal temperatures and precipitation through to the end of December.
