Charges Laid in Rash of Weekend Robberies

Prince George, B.C. – The young woman arrested on the weekend following a string of hold ups on Saturday has now been formally charged.
22 year old Christine Trisha Ivany of Williams Lake is now charged with:
- Robbery
- Attempted robbery (2 counts)
- Disguise with intent ( 3 counts)
- Obstructing a Peace Officer
- Fail to comply with recognizance (2 counts)
Ivany is alleged to have been involved in three hold ups Saturday which saw a woman, wearing a hoody , demand cash from three separate businesses in the downtown of Prince George.
A suspect was arrested on 2nd Avenue near Dominion Street around 11:30 Saturday morning following a brief foot chase. Police recovered a knife and a mask in their investigation.
