Minister of Justice comments on EPana Break
Justice Minister’s statement on E-PANA investigation VICTORIA – Minister of Justice and Attorney General Shirley Bond released the following statement today with regard to the latest developments in the RCMP’s E-PANA investigation: “My thoughts are with the family and friends of murdered and missing women who are coping daily with grief and uncertainty. I hope this latest development in the ongoing investigation will bring them some comfort. “I also want to commend the dedicated team of major-crime investigators and others for their hard work and persistence in using all available resources to solve the murders and disappearances along Highway 16, as well as other historical murders in the Interior. I know the RCMP have maintained this as a priority investigation, and they’ve certainly had – and continue to have – our government’s full support. “This remains a very active, ongoing police investigation. Regardless of the latest developments, it bears repeating: if you have information that could help further the investigation, please contact the E-PANA tip line 1 877 543-4822 or Crime Stoppers in your local area.
