How sad. Impaired driving and a youth who didn’t even get a chance to make adulthood.
The sad fact that people still drive impaired . The penalties really need to be stiffer. The disregard for public safety and the disregard for their own families is astounding. What will it take to get the message across ?
Sounds like more than drinking and driving to me. Who walks around at 5am before the sun comes up unless the pedestrian was also drinking? Obviously they would have known each other being the same age… which brings up a whole bunch of other questions.
Drinking would have contributed sure, but possibly just coincidental to a bigger crime.
Heck of an imagination Eagleone. Where does it say that they were the same age? Speculations such as these without fact can be very counter productive and even damaging. Would you have the same “bunch of other questions” if a pedestrian was hit in your neighourhood? Just throwing it out there.
You’re right vested, point taken.
