Prince George, B.C.- The first  dusting of  snow  hit areas of Prince George overnight.

The good news is, the  snow  will turn to rain showers by noon and  the white stuff that has fallen  will be short lived.

Environment Canada says  local  accumulations could be as much as 2 cm before  the switch to rainfall.

Photos below  show the road conditions  through the  Pine Pass, as the  photo on the left is at Powder King on  highway 97, while the one on the right  shows the morning conditions at Chetwynd.

Council, how is that climate change study going?

Do you think they will come to the conclusion that it is changing?

STrawberry still, Really

Yes climate changes at least three times a year, Its cold, it gets warm than it gets cold.

Maybe, there is such a thing as seasons of seasons, where we may go for 15 years of warm, than 15 years of moderate, 15 years of cooler, than we hit a warming trend.

Then, may be we go thru, ice age, and than a super hot and then back to a ice age.

Study on climate change, how about, what to do with our changing climate. May be we need to change our asphalt design mix to accomodate this so it survives the multiple freeze thaw cycle.

Or maybe we need to be changing the grass in the parks and blvds for this changing weather.

Maybe we need to be looking at not planting Manitoba Maples, and go for Palm trees… LOL

As usual: the same ignorant louts will confuse “weather” with “climate” each time the temp dips or it snows. Drearily predictable . . .

having a little fun Krusty, chill out dude. Hey while on the subject everytime it gets hot that is climate change. When ever it gets cold that is weather, amazing.

Gofaster has it correct.

Sorry, but how does axiz tilt account for an overall rise in global temperature? Whereas it might explain how the portion of the planet tilting toward the sun might get warmer, it does not explain rises in temp for the portions now tilted away from the sun.

Its sNOw surprise. Just think, in 8 months it’ll start to warm up a little. Good luck with that pg. ;)
