Another Day on the Picket Line for COPE 378

Prince George, B.C.- There will be about 1,300 ICBC staff be on the picket line today at select locations in the province.
The Prince George ICBC centre is not on the list of sites for today’s action by members of the Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union local 378 (COPE 378). Local union members had taken one day strike action on September 18th.
Today’s action is focused primarily in the lower mainland and Victoria, with the office in Kamloops being the furthest north to be impacted by today’s action.
The union members are taking this one-day job action because of a lack of progress at the bargaining table .
COPE 378 members at ICBC have been without a contract for more than two years. The union has 4,600 members at ICBC throughout the province

I think they should get off their lazy Liberal butts, and settle this contract dispute fairly before the election that’s coming up soon. Don’t pull a Gordo, Ms Clark!!! You know what happened there aye?
Save the taxpayers some money, shut down ICBC.
Privatize ICBC and let BC tax payers pay less insurance.
