Prince George, B.C.- The Little Prince has been busy all weekend. The historic train was back on track Saturday, for the first time in over a year, as it had to undergo repairs.
New steam injectors were installed, and once it received it’s approval, and two engineers were given their green light, the 100 year old Little Prince was cleared for public use.
The Little Prince has been offering free rides from noon to 4 this weekend.

With the Thanksgiving weekend weather being so lovely, plenty of people packed up the family and headed to Fort George Park to take a ride. On Sunday alone, 1019 people took the 15 minute tour via the Little Prince.
(At right, passengers wait for their turn to get on board )
The train is on track again today from noon to 4, and again, all rides are free.

Now that is something we can be proud of and promote! Not every town has one of the original locomotives that helped build the railway to and through our province. Well done!!
