I passed by just as the first emergency responders were showing up. I couldn’t tell what had happened but I knew it was bad by the looks of the bystanders.

My condolences to the mans family.

RIP unidentified man. My heart goes out to the driver of the truck and the other people who witnessed this. Horrible.

sometimes the facts are hard to swallow, but I must concur.

I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy. Yes, DPJ, you are a racist. Your comment shows you as such! A lot of people cross against lights, including many teens!

So sad for this man’s friends and family. Condolences.

the posts on this website have taken a major dive today!

What a tragedy. My condolences go out to this man and his family… and also to the unfortunate driver who is likely experiencing his worst nightmare.

Being southbound and a lease op he was likely fully loaded from Chetwynd to PBEC. Those trucks can still stop quick, but the fear is always the cars tailgating hoping to make the next light and the devastation a quick stop can make… then the momentary hesitation could be all it took? Depending on how close the cars behind him were a quick stop can be even more devastating, sad as that is. But I know nothing of what happened, just trying to figure it out.

One never knows when something like this is going to happen….

If you were calling a spade and tool for digging dirt, you would be correct.

If you were calling a First Nations man a person of aboriginal ancestry you would be correct.

If you were calling the death if this man justified because he was First Nations, you would be racist.

…but I’m just calling a racist a racist

My heart goes out the victim and his family.
