Ft. St. James, B.C. –  RCMP  say an early morning home invasion in Ft. St. James was drug related.

Early this morning, Fort St. James RCMP responded to a reported home invasion at a residence on Lower Road, near the Historic Park within Fort St. James.

Several unknown persons entered the home and assaulted the residents.

Money and other possessions were stolen.

RCMP are continuing their investigation and believe this incident to be drug related.
