Ft St John- Police are continuing their investigation into a stabbing at the North Peace Secondary school at 10.20am this morning.

Police were called to the scene after the reports of the stabbing. The victim was located at the school ,along with the suspect, who had fled the scene but was found a short distance away.

Both are students at the school. The suspect and the victim both know each other. No other students were injured.

The victim is being treated at Ft St John hospital. Their condition is not known.

Police are on the scene conducting an investigation.
