Prince George, B.C. – You can expect the Northern Cancer Centre will be officially opened Monday.

 

Premier Christy Clark, MLA’s Pat Bell, Shirley Bond and John Rustad will join representatives from the B.C. Cancer Agency  at the new facility Monday morning.

 

While the   advisory to media referred to the morning event as a “major milestone” in cancer care in the north, the Centre will be open   for public tours later that day ( from 3-7 p.m.)

 

The Cancer Centre has been under construction for a little over two years and will offer a variety of treatments, including radiation therapy to cancer patients in the north.
