Prince George, B.C.- The 2015 Winter Games in Prince George have a second sponsor.   The Northern BC Tourism Association   has signed on to partner with the 2015 Games Society to promote and  enhance the event.

The Winter Games Society and the  Northern BC Tourism Association will work together to  build a Torch Relay & CommunityEngagement Program that allows inclusion of all participating communities and Provincial tourism regions.  

“This is a very important milestone for our organization. A promise was made at the BID phase that the 2015 Games would reflect and involve Northern B.C.,” said Stuart Ballantyne, 2015 Games CEO. “We are proud to partner with the Northern BC Tourism Association to engage our region and help share a northern story with the nation in 2015.”

“This is a phenomenal opportunity to work with our regional stakeholders throughout Northern British Columbia to ensure they engaged and involved in this magical event,” said Northern BC Tourism Association Chair, Victoria Olmstead.

“Canada is coming to our region in 2015 and we want to make sure the nation witnesses and experiences the beauty and opportunities we have available.”
