And the Winner Is……

Prince George, B.C. – Henry Duchscherer of Prince George is the winner of the Prince George Hospice Society’s 2012 Dream Home Lottery .
He held ticket number 6260 which was drawn today by Evangeline Studney, the past President of the Hospice Society.
The lottery was very close to being a sell out with all but 151 of the 8500 tickets being sold.
Although the Hospice Society has called the ticket holder, they weren’t available to reach the winner right away, so when the winner checks his voicemail…. he will be in for a very nice surprise.
The Hospice Society has offered thanks to everyone who supported the lottery. All proceeds will be used to support 3 of the 10 beds at Rotary Hospice House.

Congratulations Henry!
My advice, sell the house before the market tanks.
You got it, Sine Nomine. Because that is precisely the direction house prices are headed.
I would have to agree with the first two posts.
Why is the market going to tank?
Same reason gas prices were going to be 1.50 per litre last summer and over 2.00 this summer….oh wait, niether happened. the doom and gloomers need to believe the end is coming I guess.
Congrats Henry!
Trust the usual bloggers to find something shallow and negative to say. Congratulations to the winner but also to the Hospice society for a GREAT fund raiser.
Its never me…. why oh why… I never win… :( Oh well.. I’m used to it… lol
My wife and I bought tickets to the place and we both agreed that if we won we would actually live in it. It was quite nice IMO.
Congratz Henry!
