And That’s a Wrap On Halloween
The College Heights Community Association’s annual fireworks display drew a crowd despite cold
Prince George, BC – Out with a bang…
Halloween festivities in the city seem to have wrapped with this evening’s fireworks at College Heights Secondary School.
Prince George RCMP say it has been – touch wood – a quiet evening. But it did not start out that way, police say it was an extremely busy afternoon and early evening with several crashes around the city.
The four officers covering traffic services spent several hours going from accident scene to accident scene. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries.
250News photo at right shows one such mishap that occurred just east of the city on Highway 16 at approximately 4:30 this afternoon.
Police say freezing rain made for some treacherous road conditions and motorists were driving too fast.
RCMP are urging those still out and about to drive with extreme care.
