Costumed Creatures Trick-or-Treat In Style
Prince George, BC – Hundreds of little munchkins and their parents avoided sloshing through snow and opted for the warmth of the mall to do this year’s trick-or-treating…
Pine Centre Mall was offering three "Halloween Parades" for youngsters and their parents this afternoon, with store-to-store treats.
The event was a sell-out days in advance, and cost a mere $1 to register.
Nine-year-old Joy Nydegger thought it was a lot of fun to trick-or-treat inside the mall. Her mom, Jackie, thought it was wonderful to be dry and warm.
The three parades were set a half-hour apart.
And while the wait line-ups were long, they moved quickly.
Members of Prince George Fire Rescue acted as ‘parade marshalls’ for the event.
The Prince George Spruce Kings were also lending a helping hand for the event, giving eager youngsters a balloon to top of the afternoon.
