Air Quality Advisory Continues For Prince George

Friday, November 2, 2012 @ 9:09 AM

Prince George, BC – The Air Quality Advisory issued yesterday afternoon for Prince George is continuing due to a high level of fine particulates…

Air Quality Meteorologist, Dennis Fudge, says the levels are mainly due to a long range transport of smoke from open burning west of Vanderhoof, with some contribution from local wood smoke and emissions from industry.

The levels are expected to improve throughout the day.
