Prince George, BC – It’s a side to this week’s snowfall that may have been overlooked as snow shovels were pulled from the back of shed, but many are celebrating the first big dump of fall…

The Caledonia Nordic Ski Club is one such group.  The club is inviting city residents out to the Otway Nordic Ski Centre today for an open house for an opportunity to learn about the club, new programs and upcoming events.

In addition to more than 50-kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails – including a newly expanded 5km dog trail, the facility also boasts a large snowshoe trail network.

Today’s open house runs from 9am until 1pm and is the last chance for early bird membership and program rates.
