UNBC Ladies Sweep, Men Split

Prince George, B.C. – The UNBC Timberwolves ladies basketball team made it a weekend sweep at the Northern Sports Centre Saturday night.
For the second straight night UNBC knocked off Trinity Western University in CIS action. Jennifer Bruce led the way with 26 points as the T’wolves scored a 62-54 victory over TWU. The win evens UNBC’s record at 2 and 2.
It was a battle on the men’s side as the Timberwolves scored with two ticks left on the clock to send their contest with Trinity Western to overtime. However the visitors managed to pull out a 103-100 victory. The result leaves the men also with a 2 and 2 record.
Next weekend, Friday and Saturday nights, the Timberwolves men and ladies host UBC-Okanagan.
