Grow Op Busted Near 100 Mile House
100 Mile House, B.C- A grow op has been busted at Bridge Lake, about 60 kilometers southeast of 100 Mile House.
Last Thursday, members of the North District Integrated Marihuana Enforcement Task Force (NDIME) and 100 Mile House Detachment executed a search warrant for Production of a Controlled Substance on a property on Highway #24 at Bridge Lake.
A marihuana grow operation was located within the outbuilding on the property.
663 marihuana plants in various stages of growth were located in an ourbuilding on the property. The plants, along with approximately 17 pounds of dried marihuana were seized, as was growing equipment
. Police also seized as offence-related property a large diesel generator, an all terrain vehicle and a pick up truck
.
One adult male was arrested at the scene and is facing charges of Production of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance For the Purpose of Trafficking.
will be making his first court appearances on March 5th, 2013 in 100 Mile House.
