Prince George, BC – The identity of the young man killed in a truck roll-over in Williams Lake on Remembrance Day has been released.
The Regional Coroner says 21-year-old Carl Landen Siwallace died in Cariboo Memorial Hospital on Monday, succumbing to injuries sustained during the single vehicle crash that occurred on Dog Creek Road at approximately 3:30 that afternoon.
Siwallace was one of five people in the truck at the time of the crash. Coroner, Donita Kuzma, says the truck had been used for an off-road expedition prior to the accident – it was travelling northbound on the roadway when it went out of control and rolled several times.
Siwallace had been staying in Williams Lake, but had previously resided in Port Alberni and Bella Coola.
