Prince George, BC – With Christmas ‘wish-lists’ starting to grow, it’s a time of year when every penny counts, so a little relief at the pumps is a welcome sight as city residents head out for their Saturday shopping.
The price for a litre of regular gasoline has fallen to $1.18 in the city. According to bcgasprices.com, that’s two-cents below the provincial average of $1.20 and four-cents below the national average of $1.22.
Over the past 48-hours, the lowest gas prices for regular have been recorded in Courtenay and Comox on Vancouver Island and in Abbotsford at $1.08, the highest are in Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd and Powell River, where motorists are paying $1.35 per litre.
