On Friday, Oliver’s family released a statement expressing their "true gratitude and appreciation for the outpouring of support and strength received from across Canada as they join us in grieving the loss of Adrian."
"We truly appreciate the messages of condolence, acts of goodwill and overwhelming support we have received from the RCMP, family, friends, and the public. It has provided much comfort and is reflective of the way Adrian would act if he was with us today."
A sea of red serge is expected for a march prior to tomorrow’s service, which is open to the public.
Constable Oliver’s funeral will begin at 1pm at the Langley Event Centre.
BC RCMP will be broadcasting the event for those unable to attend, you can watch it by clicking here.

Will the officers arriving be doing so on our dime???
I find it strange they haven’t released a cursory cause to this accident. I read no charges will be laid which leads me to believe it was the officers fault. Maybe reading his dash mounted computer while driving like all the RCMP around here do, they are no better at texting/distracted driving then the general public but for some reason are allowed to do it.
I sat beside one at the Peden Hill light who missed half the green cause he was distracted playing angry birds or whatever it is they do on there.
