To funny but its the truth

still like where were at economically, won’t be biting my nose off to spite my face come election day, 4 yrs under the NDP boy then you’ll see/hear some crying ………. again !!! If the NDP gets in it’ll prove my point of why governments lie or manipulate the electorate, because as a whole were to daft to grasp bigger pictures.

Yep- and neither is he constant attacks on anything positive the liberals do by the NDP’ers on here anything to do with wanting “their” government back at the trough either.

What have the liberals done that is positive? Close schools? Bring in the hst and carbon taxes ? Buy ferries from overseas and just now offer grants so BC resident can enter the ship building trade?

Just tell us the positives….

Thank you for your vote. See you in 4 years. 5 years if we are unpopular. Be it ever so. Especially here in B.C.

Positives, are you serious, they carried us through a global economic meltdown and we’re sitting pretty damm good, the HST the only thing bad about that was sending the ballots home so the lazy assed couch potato’s could cast an uninformed vote on it and make us look like morons. Enrollment is down in schools so yah closures thats not rocket science. We lead the country in job creation, and the public sector unions got their feed bag tightened. As I said BIG picture !

I’m not a diehard one party supporter of any kind, the end result is my only interest, I know where we were after 4 years of NDP leadership, they led us into what the Liberals have just led us out of. I like food on my table and the bills paid.

Well said twospeed99, how short memories are

Well Cristy will look after a few of you if you’re a good friend. If you want change for the better and a judicial inquiry into the sale of BC Rail vote NDP.

Thelibs are done the question is will the NDP stop the corp bleed and plan for future not just sell, sell like the libs with no plan

“Judicial inquiry into the sale of BC Rail” led by the NDP, ya lets waste a boat load of money on that …… Then for 4 years we can hear their take on this while our province becomes have-nots again …… no thanks

Big picture—we have the highest child poverty rates in Canada, people with broken legs are turned away at our hospital and told to spend the night in a hotel, pregnant women have to travel 100s of kilometers to give birth because of underfunded hospitals…..let’s consider financial management as a measure, $11 million for 20 cells at PG Hotel on the hill, massive cost overruns on the weigh scale south of town, buying ferries offshore killing BCs shipbuilding industry when they needed help the most. Allowing CEOs of crown corp to collect outrageous salaries and benefits, while raising fees (ferries & ICBC ).

Yes those Liberals have a glowing track record for sure, obviously it depends on how you measure it.

At least I had a Doctor and could see a Chiropractor on a regular basis without it breaking my credit card. My senior friends weren’t grocery shopping in the dollar store. If NDP was have not, then what the hell do you call this? This Liberal Government has sucked every nickel, dime and penny out of our pockets. We have working poor, starving people in our own Province with cutbacks galore and you’ve got a Government that’s spending millions on advertising, telling you this is what were PLANNING on doing. If they had any intention don’t you think they should just do it now instead of waiting to be elected? Nope, I’d even take the old NDP over this Liberal bull…t. The rich had their 10years now it’s time for a change.

really Jim? Youre idea of “big picture” is comparing the PG south scales cost overruns to the NDP shutting the doors on the entire province and making us “havenots” again. Good grief we are doomed.

I agree interceptor it’s actually frightening, the only thing that gives me any comfort is they won’t be mailing out the ballots. NDP supporters are the Romney 47%, either public sector or reliant on government in another way, same old always me story.
Adrian Dix and Moe Sihota have mercy.

Rather funny to see NDP supporters talk about ferries, short memories !!!

Ferries…perfectly good ferries sold by the BC Liberals for less than the scrap value of the aluminum they were made of!! All for the political ends of slagging the NDP for buying them.

Remember how Gordon and his Liberals were going to straighten out First Nations treaty demands…hahaha…don’t let that forgotten promise disappear…sure told them who owns BC eh?

Two speed-Romney is American….he doesn’t believe in universal healthcare either!! In his world, like the Liberals, only the rich get medical attention.

University Hospital of the North…what a joke…they made me travel to Quesnel for an ultrasound. I guess spending money on junkets to China is more important than being able to provide basic medical? Thanks to the BC Liberal Party.

i wish we had another option! liberals are all about making the rich, richer and the poor, poorer. Dix makes me nervous i dont trust him.Cons, i will never vote for? whats a girl to do

I know Romney is American I just agree with his wording, there is a saying that you could take all the money from the rich and give it to the poor, within 10 yrs the once rich would have it all back. They’re rich not because someone gave it to them but because they have the drive to want to be. It’s funny how poor immigrants can come to this country and work to become successful while some people who are born here never grasp the concept.
I don’t want a political party that realizes the percentage of people in that position then rallies the large unions and runs with those 2 demographics to office, thats not representing us as a whole either..
Moe Sihota the NDP party president has a position that was once volunteer but he now receives a $72,000 salary paid for by guess who …. CUPE, the Steelworkers Union and the BC FED now if that don’t stink.

Those are unions…union memberships are made up of working British Columbians, not off shore investors like many public Corporations. You think it stinks when working British Columbians support a political party? WOW. I suppose it’s OK for foreign interests to meddle in our politics through Corporations though?

and what do these public sector unions get in return for their loyal support, increased wages at the expense of the rest of the BC workers who will get nothing but increased taxes …….

They brought you stat holidays, overtime pay, legislated minimum wages, safety legislation, and a whole host of things that ALL working people benefit from. What have Liberal supporting corporations done for you?

On one hand you have a party supported by regular people and on the other you have corporate entities focused on profits at any cost supporting a government that lowers corporate taxes to the point they have to gut our social programs.

Where is the provincial debt sitting at now versus 10 years ago?

How much has BC received in xfer payments under this government versus the previous government?

What percentage of GDP is simply more debt?

How’s BC Hydros books now versus 10 years ago?

What is the success rate for apprentices, in a time of skilled worker shortages, now versus 10 years ago?

Just some of many questions that BCers need to ask before the next election.
