Prince George, B.C.- Just one week into the Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery and there is an early bird winner.

Arnot and Charlene Teel of Prince George won the first early bird prize a Get-Away to Vancouver from Japatedon Travel & Cruises in Prince George.

The Teel’s purchased their ticket (0314) at the Show Home in the Aberdeen Glen Subdivision during the first week the house was open for viewing. Their ticket was drawn on Sunday night during the first Early Bird Prize drawing held at the house located at 2668 Links Drive.
The winning ticket will now go back in the barrel and be eligible for all subsequent draws.

This is the  31st Annual Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery and it is the primary fund raiser for the Spruce Kings BCHL hockey club. The home this year is over 1500 sq feet, and is valued at $434 thousand dollars.

“There is a lot of excitement with the Lottery this year,” said Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery manager, Jim Young. “Every year (the Spruce Kings) receive great support for our primary fund raiser and this year there is an added component with the Mega 50/50 draw. Ten days into the draw and we have seen 1080 Show Home Lottery tickets purchased and another 875  50/50 tickets.”

The Mega 50/50 Lottery features a total of 4,000 tickets available for $20 each with one ticket winning half of the grand prize total. Tickets for the Mega 50/50 are available at all locations where the Show Home Lottery tickets are being sold.

The next early bird prize in the Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery will be drawn on Sunday December 2nd at 8pm for a $2000 Shopping Spree from Save On Foods.

Okay great! Let’s support the Kings!
Now where in heck does one go to purchase a ticket?
metalman.

The Spruce Kings Lottery house website says this early bird prize is a Vancouver Canucks getaway… Hmmmmmm!!!

You can purchase a ticket at the home at the Aberdeen sub division, or at Pine Centre Mall. They are at Pine Centre 7 days a week.

Is there a website one can go to in order to view the house?

We bought our tickets at Canadian Tire…..

Its definitely a nice place but there isn’t much of a yard. If we won we’d likely put it up for sale for that reason alone….

You can call them and buy via telephone

Thank you.
I just thought that the information should have been included in the new article.
I got my ticket at the show home.
