City Light Up to Feature Gangnam Style Surprise
Prince George, B.C.- The hit tune "Gangnam Style" has surpassed anything Justin Bieber’s done on YouTube, and will soon be a featured portion of the City of Prince George’s Civic Square light up celebration set for Wednesday evening.
The official event kicks off at 6 p.m. and will include, Miss B.C, a visit from Santa, treats, and the count down to the light up of the tree. Yes, this year, there will be a REAL tree. You may recall that last year, the light up ceremony featured a "virtual tree" that was an animated version projected on the wall of the Civic Centre.
And while the City is promising a "Gangnam Style" surprise, we thought you just might like to see what this fellow in Texas has done.
You may have seen Christmas lights put to music before, and certainly the one we are about to show you has a tune that is anything but "Christmasy" however, this Texan has done a superb job of matching lights with rhythm and while you may not jump up and say Ho Ho Ho it’s pretty hard not to want to shake a leg once you hear the infectious beat. click here to see the results.

Ugh… This song is annoying!
Definately a good reason NOT to go to he ceremony. Another good use of taxpayers money. I think it is time for a name change, instead of “christ”mas it should be “tacky”mas.
How about “Commercialmass”
Whatever happened to Christmas Trees, Christmas carols and a Christmas season that didn’t start until December and not the first week in November?
Not a beiber fan.. But, psy puts out 1 hit viral song, with 800 million veiws, and hes a god? Justin beiber has well over 3 billion veiws on youtube. And hes canadian! who voted psy in? Not really what i excpected when i read pg news.
I am neither a Beiber fan nor of the gangnam music. Both are annoying.
Is there something wrong with having traditional Christmas music at Christmas time?
Yes ….. jingle bells has too many naughty connotations … and elves are certainly not a PC topic. ;-)
