Prince George- Three people escaped injury but the two family pets are unaccounted for after an early morning fire in the 2900 block of Nicole Ave.

Fire fighters found the home completly engulfed in fire when they arrived with a structure beside the residence also on fire.

Fire fighters fought the blaze from the exterior of the home because fire conditions were too unstable to do an interior attack.

There is still a cat and a dog unaccounted for inside the home.

One firefighter was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

 

Damage to the home is estimated at over $150,000.00 dollars.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
