November Near Normal

Prince George, B.C. – November  was fairly mild to start in Prince George,  but, as Environment Canada Meteorologist Jim Steele reports, “winter made a rather ungraceful appearance on the 8th.” That’s when the temperatures took a nose dive, hitting minus 20.5 as an overnight low on the 10th.
 
Steele says the temperature hit a high mark on the 17th when the daytime high was 10.5
 
All in all, he says November 2012 will be remembered as a near normal month for temperatures, but a little on the dry side.

  • Average daily high of 0.5 was near the normal of 0.6 degrees C.
  • Average daily low of -7.1 was below the normal of -6.3 degrees C. 
  • Mean temperature of -3.3 was near the normal -2.9 degrees C.
  • Warmest Day on the 17th with a maximum temperature of 10.5 degrees
  • Coldest day on the 10th with an overnight minimum of -20.5 degrees
