Kamloops, B.C.- RCMP say the bus which rolled into a ditch on the Coquihalla early this morning, may have been the result of the bus driver having difficulties maneuvering around a stalled vehicle that was blocking the northbound slow lane.
The bus, which was bound for Prince George, rolled on to its side around 1:44 this morning, near the Helmar exit north of Merritt.
All 40 passengers and driver were taken to Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital for treatment of any injuries. At this point, there has been no word on how many people may have suffered injuries, or the seriousness of any such injuries.
The investigation into the crash is continuing with the assistance from the BC Commercial Vehicle Safety Inspectors.
