CNC and CUPE 4951 Have Tentative Deal

Prince George, B.C.- The College of New Caledonia and CUPE local 4951 have a reached a tentative agreement.
Detils of the tentative two year package are not being released at this time, but the package will be presented to union members for a ratification vote January 9th.
CUPE Local 4951 president Lily Bachand said the package is the result of a great deal of hard work “There were exhaustive efforts on both sides and the CUPE Local 4951 bargaining team is looking forward to ratification of this proposal in the near future.”
If CUPE Local 4951 ratifies the deal on Jan. 9, it will then go to the College of New Caledonia’s Board of Governors meeting on Jan. 25 for ratification.
