NH Connections Scales Back For Holidays

Prince George, B.C. – Northern Health’s NH Connections program, providing transportation for clients travelling to non-emergent health services outside their home communities, will run on a modified schedule over the holiday season.
NH Connections buses began the last short-haul routes for 2012 on Tuesday December 18. The long-haul coaches will start their final runs of the year today. The call centre will closeat 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 24 and reopen on Tuesday, December 27. All routes will resume regular operations on or after December 30, 2012.

NH Connections is open to anyone who needs to travel to an out-of-town medical appointment,regardless of their age or income. Fares range from $20 to $80 return, depending on the length of travel.
